GOOGLE ANALYTICS REMARKETING

This website uses the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

This feature allows you to link the advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing to the cross-device capabilities of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to you on one device (e.g. mobile phone) depending on your previous usage and surfing behavior can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g. tablet or PC).

If you have given permission, Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google Account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalized advertising messages can be delivered on any device you sign in to with your Google Account.

To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create target audiences for cross-device advertising.

You can permanently object to cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalized advertising; follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

GOOGLE ADS AND GOOGLE CONVERSION TRACKING

This website uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

In the context of Google Ads we use the so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page.

Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked on the websites of Google Ads customers. The information collected through the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, you will not receive information that can be used to identify users personally. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can opt out of this use by slightly disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie on your web browser under User Preferences. They are then not included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of “conversion cookies” and the use of this tracking tool are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both his website and his advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 letter a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.

More information about Google Ads and Google conversion tracking can be found in the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

FACEBOOK PIXEL

This website uses the visitor action pixel of Facebook to measure conversion. The provider of this service is Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected or only collected on a voluntary basis. We use these data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass them on to third parties.

The data entered in the newsletter registration form will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). Data that has been stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected.

After you have been removed from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored in a blacklist by us or the newsletter service provider to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in compliance with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). With the help of MailChimp we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an e-mail sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the e-mail (so-called web-beacon) connects to the servers of MailChimp in the USA. In this way it can be determined whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked on, if applicable. Technical information is also collected (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. They are used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out shall not be affected by the revocation.

The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from the newsletter distribution list after the newsletter has been cancelled. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected.

After you have been removed from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored in a blacklist by us or the newsletter service provider to prevent future mailings. This serves both your interest and our interest in compliance with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). We use YouTube in advanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode has the effect that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. Furthermore, YouTube can store various cookies on your end device after starting a video. These cookies enable YouTube to obtain information about visitors to this website. We assure you that the collection, processing and use of your data will be in accordance with the applicable data protection law and all other legal provisions and that your data will be treated in strict confidence.

Scope and purpose of data collection

If you send us an application, we process your associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during job interviews, etc.) to the extent that this is necessary to decide on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG-neu under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (general contract initiation) and – if you have given your consent – Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. The consent can be revoked at any time. Within our company, your personal data will only be passed on to persons who are involved in the processing of your application.

If the application is successful, the data submitted by you will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of § 26 BDSG-neu and Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.

The data is then deleted and the physical application documents destroyed. The storage serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is evident that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), the data will only be deleted when the purpose for further storage no longer applies.

A longer storage period can also take place if you have given your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) or if legal storage obligations prevent deletion.

Admission to the applicant pool

If we do not make you a job offer, there may be the possibility to include you in our pool of applicants. In the event of admission, all documents and details from the application are transferred to the applicant pool so that you can be contacted in the event of suitable vacancies.

Admission to the applicant pool is based solely on your express consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). Giving consent is voluntary and has no relation to the ongoing application procedure. The person concerned can revoke his or her consent at any time. In this case, the data will be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool unless there are legal reasons for retention.

The data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted at the latest two years after constent has been given.
